Zinc Sulphate IP

Abstract
Zinc Sulphate also known as white vitriol is an inorganic compound that occurs in anhydrous, monohydrate, hexahydrate and heptahydrate forms.

Use/Application
Zinc Sulphate is used as a coagulant in the production of rayon. It is also used to supply zinc in animal feeds, fertilizers and agricultural sprays, to control moss growth on roofs, as an electrolyte for zinc plating, as a mordant in dyeing, as a preservative for skins and leather and in medicine as an astringent and emetic.
