Abstract
Urea is an organic compound which is widely used in fertilizers as a convenient source of nitrogen. The human body uses urea in many processes, the most notable one being nitrogen excretion.
Use/Application
Urea is used as a nitrogen release fertilizer. It is also used as a raw material in the manufacture of urea formaldehyde resins and urea melamine formaldehyde used in marine plywood. It can be used to make urea nitrate, as an ingredient in some skin cream, moisturizers, as a flame proofing agent in fire extinguishers, in tooth whitening products and in dish soaps.
