It is also used in pest control to kill cockroaches, in paint and corrosion removal, in pools and spas to balance pH levels, as a mild disinfectant and to extinguish small grease or electrical fires. It can also be used as an antacid, in personal hygiene products, as a cleaning agent, as a biopesticide and as cattle feed supplements.
