Potassium acetate is a potassium salt comprising equal numbers of potassium and acetate ions It has a role as a food acidity regulator. It contains an acetate.

 

Users/Applications:
It is used as a deicer to remove ice and prevent its formation. It is used as a food additive as a preservative and acidity regulator.

Shelf life, Storage and Packing

It should be stored in a segregated area in a cool and ventilated place away from combustible materials. Keep in a tightly closed container, sealed until ready for use. It is packed in 25kg or 50kg HDPE bags or drums as required.
