Solubility Slightly soluble in water, soluble in acetone and in alcohol.
Appearance of Solution Solution S is not more opalescent than reference suspension II and is colorless.
Ionised Mercury Maximum 0.2%
Polymercurated Benzene Compounds Maximum 1.5%
Loss on Drying Maximum 0.5%
Assay Not less than 98.0 % and not more than 100.5%


It should be stored in a segregated area in a cool and ventilated place away from combustible materials. Keep in a tightly closed container, sealed until ready for use. It is packed in 25kg or 50kg HDPE bags or drums as required.
