Magnesium Oxide BP

Abstract:
Magnesium oxide (MgO), or magnesia, is a white hygroscopic solid mineral that occurs naturally as periclase and is a source of magnesium.  Based on bulk density it can be classified into heavy and light.

Uses/Applications:
It is used as an antacid and mild laxative. Used as a food additive.
