Abstract
Magnesium Carbonate is an inorganic compound that occurs as a white powder. Magnesium carbonate is a magnesium salt with formula MgCO3.
Uses/Applications:
It is used as a food additive and has the E number E504. It is used in foods as an acidity regulator, alkali and as an anti-caking agent. It is used in salts, dry mixes and icing sugar, in flour, breads and bakery products. Commonly used as an antacid.

Shelf life, Storage and Packing
It should be stored in a segregated area in a cool and ventilated place away from combustible materials. Keep in a tightly closed container, sealed until ready for use. It is packed in 25kg or 50kg HDPE bags or drums as required.
