Activated Charcoal USP
Activated charcoal also known as activated carbon is a form of carbon processed to have small, low volume pores that increase the surface area available for adsorption or chemical reactions. It is derived from charcoal and increasingly high porosity biochar.
Activated charcoal is used in gas purification, decaffeination, gold purification, metal extraction, water purification, medicine, sewage treatment, air filters in gas masks and respirators, filters in compressed air and many other applications. Its adsorption property makes it useful in removing pollutants from air or water streams.

Shelf life, Storage and Packing
It should be stored in a segregated area in a cool and ventilated place away from combustible materials. Keep in a tightly closed container, sealed until ready for use. It is packed in 25kg or 50kg HDPE bags or drums as required.
