a)      A flocculent, or curdy, white precipitate is formed immediately.

Tanning and bearing gums No blackish coloration or blackish precipitate is produced.
Solubility and reaction The resulting solution flows readily and is acid to litmus.
Starch or dextrin No bluish or reddish color is produced.
Insoluble residue The weight of the residue thus obtained does not exceed 50 mg.
Total Ash Not more than 4.0%
Acid insoluble ash Not more than 0.5%
Heavy metals Not more than 40ppm
Lead Not more than 10ppm

Shelf life, Storage and Packing

It should be stored in a segregated area in a cool and ventilated place away from combustible materials. Keep in a tightly closed container, sealed until ready for use. It is packed in 25kg or 50kg HDPE bags or drums as required.
